How to Apply

  • We will be accepting applications from the 27 May 2022.
  • To apply please complete an application form by clicking on the Apply Now button at the bottom of the page, by 26 June, 2022 and send us a short video of you dancing as part of the application form.
  •

What to include in your video

  • Task 1: Please introduce yourself – who you are, where you are from and why you like to dance. You can do this however you choose; you can use movement, text, singing, rapping, or anything else that tells us a bit more about who you are.
  • Task 2: Show yourself improvising – we want to see YOU and how you dance. All styles and ways of moving are very welcome. This could be you dancing at home, in a studio, or in a dance class. If there are other people in the video, please make sure that you tell us which one is you.
  •

Total length of your video should be no longer than three minutes.

You can upload your video to a video sharing platform (for example YouTube or Vimeo) and send us a link or load onto your Dropbox or Google Drive. We strongly recommend that you make sure your video is private (not public) and is deleted after August 2022.

Please do not worry about the quality of the film, recording on your phone will be perfect for us. The most important thing for us is that we can see you dancing.

For full details on the Summer School and how to apply/upload your videos, please download the How to Apply Brochure using the buttons at the top of this page.
